La monumentale quantità di dati contribuisce all’inquinamento della nostra iconosfera; ad essere maggiormente colpiti sono i siti con valenza culturale, soprattutto se interessati da fenomeni quali il turismo di massa, che li eleva a propri e veri luoghi di culto. 

Il titolo della serie, The Venetian, si rifà alla nota meta turistica di Las Vegas; Venetian è un casinò che in tutto e per tutto cerca di mimare fedelmente Venezia. Riprodotta in ogni suo particolare, i colori e i materiali così come le dimensioni, le donano un look paradossale e grottesco.

We have the mobile device and Internet network, through which we share information with anonymous users, details about our intimate and private lives, subjecting them to a prior likeability check.
The monumental amount of data contributes to the pollution of our iconosphere; those most affected are sites with cultural value, especially those affected by phenomena such as mass tourism, which elevates them to proper and true places of worship. The title of the series, The Venetian, refers to the well-known tourist destination of Las Vegas; Venetian is a casino that in every way attempts to faithfully mimic Venice. Reproduced in every detail, the colours and materials as well as the dimensions give it a paradoxical and grotesque look.
